How to Play Agario - Basics
Thousands of new people are playing Agario every day, so we thought we'd put together a quick guide on how to play the game! Most of you probably know the basics on the game. In case you're new to the game, see below:

How to play Agario?
Agario is an online multiplayer game where players control a cell in the map represented by a colored blob. The objective is to gain as much mass and grow as large as possible. To do this players must eat food scattered across the grid or eat smaller player-controlled blobs. As you get larger in size you'll be able to eat more players, but you also lose speed. Smaller blobs can move very quickly, while the largest blogs move at a snail's pace. When you press 'spacebar' you can split your mass by 50%:

This will allow you to project your second blog forward very quickly. You can use this move to easily eat smaller blobs. Watch out though, since now your blobs are smaller, more players will now be able to eat you. Keep in mind you can split up to 16 times on most servers.

You can also shoot out mass:

You can do this either to bait out another player (and then eat them) or when teaming up with someone. You shoot bits of 25 mass at a time.

On the map you'll also find viruses:

These viruses will break up larger cells into small pieces. If you see a large cell broken up by a virus, it's a good opportunity to take some easy mass. You can also shoot mass into viruses, which will make them larger. When a virus is too large it will blast forward. You can use this as a strategy to break up large cells.

And that's pretty much the gist of it. Have fun! Smile
